Description:
LEXSY Hygro is an aminoglycoside antibiotic used for the selection of recombinant Leishmania strains. It can also be used for the selection of other recombinant organisms expressing the HPT gene encoding Hygromycin phosphotransferase.
Selection:
For selection of recombinant Leishmania strains LEXSY Hygro is added to the growth medium to a final concentration of 100 μg/ml.
