Jena Bioscience continually develops new products and technologies and is working on projects in a variety of areas.
For some of its projects, Jena Bioscience receives funding from the Free State of Thuringia, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF/EFRE) which contributes to the Europe 2020 Strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth and from the European Social Fund (ESF) which is the European Union's main financial instrument for supporting employment.

Innovative Staff - Business Development Manager
With the financial support of the European Social Fund we can realize the project "Business Development Manager (BDM) for the region Middle East/North Africa".
For our growing clientele in the Arab region, we have hired an Arab native speaker as a permanent contact person. The BDM takes care of existing customers and gains new market shares by reactivating old contacts and acquiring new customers.

RNAEpiTrans
With the financial support of the European Regional Development Fund we can realize the project "RNAEpiTrans".
The aim of this project is to establish a production system for the one-step production of tailor-made biologically functional synthetic RNA.
The production system will improve the yield and the range of enzymatically insertable epigenetic modifications compared to the T7 RNA Polymerase - based standard methods.
