In-situ-1 Plate

The new and patent-pending plate, designed by MiTeGen, features excellent UV- and X-ray transparency and securely prevents liquid transfer out of the reservoir well during rough handling and shipping.

In-situ-1 Crystallization Plate Features

• 96 well plate suitable for sitting and hanging drops
• Made of low birefringent COC
• Plate dimensions: 128 x 85 x 9.2 mm (low-profile with SBS footprint)
• Protein droplet: 1 to 6 droplets per well, 50 nl - 2 µl
• Reservoir volume: 40 µl
• Thin-film (100 µm) COC bottom for excellent UV- and X-ray transparency
• Special ledges within the reservoir wells that effectively prevent liquid motion out of the wells
• Small microchannels that allow vapor equilibration between reservoir and protein well at the same rate as in existing plates while strongly inhibiting liquid transfer out of the reservoir well
