Description:
DFHBI-1T is cell-permeable and can be used for in vitro and live cell detection of RNA provided with a DFHBI-1T-specific RNA sequence (DFHBI-1T aptamer) such as Spinach2 or Broccoli.[1-3] DFHBI-1T possesses a higher photostability than DFHBI which generally results in a higher signal intensity and lower background especially in combination with Broccoli.
Fluorescence is activated upon binding to a matching aptamer sequence:
Spinach2/DFHBI-1T complex[1]:,
Exc.max: 482 nm / Em.max: 505 nm / ɛmax: 31000 M-1 cm-1
Broccoli/DFHBI complex[2]:
Exc.max: 472 nm / Em.max: 507 nm / ɛmax: 29600 M-1 cm-1
