DBCO Magnetic Beads are an efficient matrix to covalently capture CLICK-functionalized proteins by Cu(I)-free click chemistry reaction. The proteins of interest need to be metabolically, enzymatically or chemically azide-tagged.
Subsequently, the DBCO Magnetic Beads containing the covalently attached proteins can be washed with high stringency, virtually eliminating any non-specifically bound proteins.
DBCO Magnetic Beads are not stable in organic solvents and high urea concentrations.
