Preparation: Surface antigens of the viruses are removed by deoxycholate treatment and the remaining core particles are concentrated by centrifugation. Some surface proteins may be present.
Inactivation: This product has been treated with deoxycholate. Confirmed inactive by attempted growth under original culture conditions. Since no procedure can guarantee absolute sterility, the reagent should be handled with appropriate safety precautions.
