Preparation: Yersinia is grown in liquid culture and stimulated to secrete YOPs (Yersinia outer proteins). YOP proteins concentrated from the culture medium are presented in phosphate buffered saline.
Inactivation: This product has been inactivated by sterile filtration. Confirmed inactive by attempted growth under original culture conditions. Since no procedure can guarantee absolute sterility, the reagent should be handled with appropriate safety precautions.
