Description:
B-GPP is a biotin-labeled analog of geranyl pyrophosphate (GPP). It serves as lipid donor for the native RabGGTase and mutants of GGTase-I and FTase. B-GPP allows for straightforward mammalian prenylome labeling and thus, not only identifying protein prenyltransferase substrates but efficiently screening for new inhibitors.
