LEXSY Bleo is a glycopeptide antibiotic used for the selection of recombinant Leishmania strains. It can also be used for the selection of other recombinant organisms expressing the ble gene encoding bleomycin resistance protein from S. hindustans.
Selection:
For selection of recombinant Leishmania strains LEXSY Bleo is added to growth medium to a final concentration of 100 μg/ml.
