Description:
The tall dewar, can be used as a replacement for upright glass or stainless steel Dewars. Originally, this vessel was designed for short term storage of canes of protein crystallography samples. Like the standard cryogenic foam dewar, the tall dewar offers durability, safety, and convenience for processing samples, especially when transferring from conventional shipping Dewars. The insulating properties of the Spearlab tall foam dewar are comparable to those of conventional stainless steel and glass Dewars, at a fraction of the cost. This vessel has a 9 cm cylindrical cavity, 32 cm deep , which gives it a capacity of 1800 ml liquid nitrogen. The outer profile is a tapered octagon.
