IN THE PAST... ...Music used to be played on vinyl records, information used to be kept on paper and crystallographers used vapor diffusion.
TODAY... ...Music is played on MP3s, information is stored in memory sticks and crystallographers are using the Crystal Former™

Microlytic's Crystal Former™ is designed for straightforward crystal growth. It is made of an optically clear polymer enhanced with proprietary surface treatments. Crystals grown using the Crystal Former can be extracted from the chip and immediately investigated by X-ray diffraction.
The Crystal Former™ consists of 16 reaction channels, each providing access to two inlets for loading protein and precipitant solutions. The channels are covered by a thin removable foil. The crystallization channel volume is 150 nl.
Crystal Former™ – Don't let your drops hang around!
