(1) JBSCREEN PENTAERYTHRITOL – PEP UP YOUR CRYSTALS!
|
| |
Have you ever tried to grow crystals with PEE and PEP?
No?
Then try our new JBScreen Pentaerythritol which uses two branched polymers, PEE and PEP, as precipitating agents.
JBScreen Pentaerythritol was developed by Ulrike Demmer from the Max-Planck-Institute for Biophysics in Frankfurt. It utilizes 4 different pentaerythritol polymers which are arranged to a grid screen, thus allowing screening i) of three different precipitant concentrations, ii) four different pH values and iii) with and without the addition of salts.
The advantage of JBScreen Pentaerythritol not only lies in the novel 96 conditions but also in the systematic arrangement of the unique reagents, which enables you to compare individual conditions directly and obtain valuable information about the crystallization behavior of your protein.
Follow the link for more information on pentaerythritol polymers, the exact composition of the unique reagents, pricing and order information:

(2) NEW MITEGEN TOOLS – A SOLUTION FOR THE MOST CHALLENGING SAMPLE MANIPULATION TASKS!
|
| |
Still searching for a solution to a difficult problem? We offer a wide variety of new MiTeGen Tools.
Indexed MicroMesh™ Mounts have all the features and advantages of regular MicroMesh™ Mounts. Indexing makes it easier to locate a crystal on the mount.
MicroLoop™ Mounts provide a superior tool in a familiar format for manipulating and mounting protein/small molecule crystals and many other small fragile samples.
MicroGripper™ Mounts provide a new approach to retrieving and mounting crystals for room and low temperature measurements.
MiTeGen Labs™ – Feeling adventurous? Try some of the many new products under development at MiTeGen. These prototypes are still undergoing testing and evaluation. We would really appreciate your feedback! You can choose from MicroBrooms™, MicroPlows™, MicroSloops™, MicroApertures™ and much more.
