    (1) JBScreen Solubility HTS

Is your protein feeling good? Could it feel better? Check it out by applying JBScreen Solubility HTS, developed by Meindert Lamers from the MRC in Cambridge: A brand-new pre-screen to search for the buffer condition your protein likes best.

  • Quick setup by crystallization robots (< 5 min)
  • Small amounts of protein are used (10 µl @ 5-10 mg/ml)
  • Buffer, pH, salt and glycerol are tested at the same time
  • Minimal effect of initial buffer components
  • Results are visible after one hour using a standard light microscope

    (2) Base Holders

A very useful box to accommodate goniometer bases (caps) and assemblies for well-arranged storage and secure shipping!

The Base Holders are designed to also aid as a holder for assemblies during cleaning.

Please find further advantages and detailed cleaning instructions on the following page:

    (3) DT MicroLoops™

Say goodbye to floppy nylon loops! Check out the next generation SPINE standard loops for retrieving and mounting small samples of all sorts including crystals, single cells and tissues. In protein and small molecule crystallography, Dual-Thickness MicroLoops™ provide much lower background X-ray scatter than any other loop-style mount.

Polymer tips are attached to beveled non-magnetic 0.025" (0.64 mm) diameter stainless steel rods - compatible with all standard X-ray hardware. Unique designs are optimized for challenging applications, available from 50 µm to 1000 µm.
