    (1) Polypentaerythritols successfully used for membrane crystallization

The X-ray structure of cbb3 Cytochrome Oxidase was recently published in Science[1]. Crystals of this proton pumping membrane protein where successfully grown using pentaerythritol ethoxylate as precipitation agent.

Our JBScreen Pentaerythritol utilizes 4 different pentaerythritol polymers which are arranged to a grid screen, thus allowing screening i) of three different precipitant concentrations, ii) four different pH values and iii) with and without the addition of salts.

The advantage of JBScreen Pentaerythritol not only lies in the novel 96 conditions but also in the systematic arrangement of the unique reagents, which enables you to compare individual conditions directly and obtain valuable information about the crystallization behavior of your protein.

Follow the link for more information on pentaerythritol polymers, the exact composition of the unique reagents, pricing and order information:

    (2) Ready-to-use Mount-Base-Vial Assemblies for cryo-crystallography

Combine a magnetic CryoVial with a goniometer base (cap) and a crystal mount/loop of your choice!

Select a goniometer bases, and choose from MicroMounts™, MicroLoops™, MicroLoops E™, MicroLoops LD™, MicroMeshes™, Indexed MicroMeshes™ and MicroGrippers™ of any size, and they will be assembled to your specifications.

Ideal for high-throughput applications!

You will find more information about all the possible combinations under:

    (3) MicroRT™ System – a complete solution for high-throughput room-temperature diffraction screening

MiTeGen's patented MicroRT™ capillary system is the answer for room temperature diffraction screening and data collection.

Go from a crystal in a drop to a crystal in the X-ray beam at room temperature in 2 minutes with 99% chance of success. Collect room and low temperature data from the same crystal to evaluate your crystal and cryo-preservation protocol.
The MicroRT™ Aligner makes sliding the capillary tubing past your crystal and onto our goniometer bases a breeze! No need to use a microscope or magnifier and no worries about shaky hands causing you to bump your crystal.

(Requires a magnetic wand with roughly 6 mm shaft diameters.)
