Nucleotide analogs that are resistant to hydrolysis are suitable tools for the trapping of kinases, G-proteins, motor proteins, chaperones, or any other NTP-binding enzymes in their triphosphate-bound state. They are also useful as inhibitors for co-crystallization, kinetic assays, or as biochemical probes.
