Jena Bioscience is one of only a few suppliers that offers the nucleoside triphosphates ATP, CTP, GTP, and UTP of highest quality from milligram to kg scale. Every NTP lot is individually assayed regarding biophysical properties, purity by HPLC, and functional tests (see our   NTP Solutions Specifications and   NTP Lyophilisates Specifications) including

  • absence of DNase, RNase and, Protease

  • absence of nicking activity

  • tested by T7 RNA Polymerase-mediated in vitro transcription
Especially the NTP performance in RNA in vitro transcription, is crucial for efficient synthesis of labeled probes or large amounts of unlabeled RNA[1,2] (Figure 1).

Figure 1: Every NTP lot is individually assayed in a 1.406 bp in vitro transcription reaction using our T7 Transcription Kit (Cat.-No.: PCR-601).

Our NTPs are * other concentrations available upon request
