The new pLEXSY_I-2 vectors:
- represent the only eukaryotic T7-TR driven expression architecture
- permit up to 5-10 x higher expression levels as compared to first generation inducible vectors (tub integration) or constitutive vectors
- enable efficient induction of protein expression at any chosen time of cultivation
- can be used for intracellular or secretory protein expression
- offer convenient restriction sites for cloning
- allow fusion to a C-terminal affinity tag
- are available with neo or ble selection markers
- are fully compatible with constitutve LEXSY expression constructs

CONVENIENT CLONING – ACHIEVE INTRACELLULAR OR SECRETORY EXPRESSION USING ONLY ONE VECTOR:

- Clone 5' into Bgl II, Nco I or Sla I site and get cytosolic expression
- Clone 5' into Sal I or Xba I, in frame with a signal peptide (SP), and get secretory expression
- Clone 3' into MspC I or Kpn I, in frame with His6 stretch (H6), and purify by metal affinity chromatography
- Clone 3' into Not I, and introduce your affinity tag
