    (1) HIGH TRANSFECTION EFFICIENCY WITH SIMPLIFIED PROTOCOL
   
For more efficacy & convenience, the protocol for LEXSY host transfection was greatly simplified:
  • Efficient transfection with only 20...200 ng DNA per plate
  • Standard Miniprep DNA works fine, no need for larger scale DNA preps
  • Additional washing steps or buffer solutions no longer required

It's been now 9 years since we developed the first LEXSY host strains. When following our protocols...
  • ...all strains can easily be reactivated after 9 years and
  • ...transfection efficiencies and growth of reactivated strains were undistinguishable from current lab strain
