GFP-Cap is a small, 15 kDa protein that strongly binds Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) with nM affinity. This allows easy extraction of any GFP-fusion protein as well as its interacting factors/ligands from complex biological samples.

GFP-Cap is highly stable in various buffer environments and at elevated temperatures which enables working in living cells, cell extracts and in vitro. GFP-Cap is used for protein interaction studies, enzymatic assays, Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and high-throughput proteomics.
