Fluorescent nucleotides have found a plethora of applications in life science such as signal transduction research of G-proteins and kinases, as probes for ATP-utilizing proteins, or for labeling of DNA through incorporation by polymerases.

Jena Bioscience offers a large selection of fluorescent nucleotides thoroughly selected among the wealth of possibilities to cover the whole range of applications with the most suitable probes:

    DYE- AND QUENCHER-LABELED NUCLEOTIDES

From the ever increasing number of commercially available fluorescent dyes we have thoroughly selected those dyes that:

  • cover the whole UV/VIS spectrum with all colors available

  • fit the common commercial light sources and filter systems

  • have superiour properties with primary focus on
    • signal intensity
    • high solubility in water
    • photostability
    • low molecular weight and minimal steric hindrance

Combined with our vast selection of nucleotide analogs, Jena Bioscience offers an unmatched portfolio of nucleotides that are labeled with fluorecent dyes and quenchers at various positions utilizing different linker types and lengths. This will allow you to select the analog that perfectly fits your application!

    INTRINSICALLY FLUORESCENT NUCLEOTIDES

The compact, low molecular weight intrinsically fluorescent nucleotides combine fluorescence with close mimicry of the properties of natural nucleotides in respect of protein binding and interaction.

They display environmentally sensitive fluorescence and therefore give strong signals upon a binding event which makes them perfect probes for stopped-flow and equilibrium analysis.

Analogs available comprise mant- and ant-nucleotides, TNP-derivatives and derivatives containing fluorescent bases, such as ε-ATP. Choose from our large selection of ribo- and deoxy-nucleotides, their corresponding di- and triphosphates and various non-hydrolyzable analogs.
