Click Chemistry has become an efficient and widely used labeling technique. We are happy to announce that our portfolio of Click Chemistry reagents has been extended by numerous Alkyne-containing Phosphoramidites and 2'-O- and 3'-O-Propargyl-CPGs (Controlled Pore Glasses) for synthesis of oligonucleotides by automated standard protocols.
The resulting oligos contain reactive groups (triple bonds) for subsequent CLICK-attachment of reporter groups such as biotin or fluorescent dyes, allowing synthesis of highly modified DNA strands carrying multiple labels in a density unmatched by classic labeling techniques[1]. The labeled oligos may serve as PCR primers[2], antisense agents for therapeutic applications[3],[4], molecular beacons for detecting genetic mutations, and as probes for measuring gene expression in DNA microarrays[5] and gene chips.
