Jena Bioscience has launched a new nucleotide section of Thio-GTP analogs.
6-Thio-GTP is a metabolite of Azathioprine which is widely used in organ transplantation and therapy of auto-immune and chronic inflammatory diseases such as Crohn disease. The immunosuppressive properties of Azathioprine are very likely caused by binding of 6-Thio-GTP to the small GTPase Rac.
6-Mercaptopurine-riboside inhibits nucleoside transport across erythrocyte plasma membranes, shows immunosuppressive properties, and has been used in the treatment of leukemia.
If you require analogs that are not available on stock please send us an E-mail at: nucleotides@jenabioscience.com to receive a quote for a custom synthesis.
