
LEXSY Configurations - Vectors and Primers

The constitutive pLEXSY-2 vectors (EGE-231 to EGE-234) and inducible pLEXSY_I vectors (EGE-243 to EGE-251) were developed for both, intracellular or secretory expression of target proteins.
For constitutive expression we recommend the standard vector pLEXSY-sat2 for selection of LEXSY expression strains with the antibiotic LEXSY NTC. For inducible expression we recommend the integrative vector pLEXSY_I-blecherry3 for selection of LEXSY expression strains with the antibiotic LEXSY Bleo and Cherry fluorescence monitoring of induction.
For expression plasmid construction we recommend our ligase-free CyClone technology in combination with our Primer Designer software (web shop account required)!

The LEXSY Control Vectors were developed as a positive transfection control. They allow evaluation of expression by simple fluorescence measurement of suspension cultures. As reporter proteins the Green, Red, or Cherry Fluorescence Proteins are available.
