Modified Nucleotides - Antiviral Nucleotides
Antiviral Nucleotides or Virostatics are nucleotide analogs that repress viral reproduction. They are recognized by viral DNA Polymerases or Reverse Transkriptases, but deactivate these enzymes once the analog is incorporated.
