Goniometer Bases - Type B3S |
MiTeGen offers several base styles to meet all your needs. Unlike other available bases, the patent-pending designs tightly capture the MicroRT™ tubing to allow seamless room-temperature and low-temperature data collection.

- Compatible with MicroRT™ capillaries for room temperature screening and crystal dehydration studies
- Can be used with all crystal mounts/loops, including MicroMounts™ , MicroLoops™ , MicroGrippers™ and MicroMesh™
- Designed for use with ALS style robotic sample changers
- For use with 18 mm (SPINE) length rods
- Also available with laser engraved 2D and alphanumeric barcode

It is modified from standard copper post bases by tapering the copper diameter to 2 mm to capture MicroRT™ tubing. Because only a short length of tubing must be drawn past the crystal, MicroRT tubes can be more easily taken on and off than with B1 style bases.
Base style B3S is compatible with standard CryoVials, cryotools, goniometer heads and automounting hardware. Precision machined from solid 416 stainless steel, it is extremely durable.
