Beta-Mem is a sparse matrix screen for the crystallization of beta-barrel membrane proteins. The compositions in the 96 reagent block are based on conditions that have reportedly yielded crystals of proteins within the beta-barrel membrane protein group. The screen was designed by M. Tanabe and T. Iverson from Vanderbilt University. 1.0 ml each prepared with ultra-pure chemicals and water (18.2 Megohm-cm) followed by sterile 0.22 micron filtration into a sterile 96 deep well matrix block plate that is sealed with a sterile reusable Matte cover.
