|
Emerald BioSystems Wizard™ Screens I and II are highly effective random sparse matrices for the crystallization of biological macromolecules (proteins, nucleic acids, peptides and combinations thereof). Sixteen different crystallants and eleven different buffers, ranging from pH 4.5 to pH 10.5, ensure a broad sampling of crystallization space.
Each crystallization matrix contains:
- 48 unique formulations, 10 ml each, prepared with ultrapure chemicals and water (18.3 MOhm), followed by sterile 0.22 micron filtration into sterile polypropylene tubes.
- Two oils, 5 ml each of miscible light and heavy oils for use in modulating vapor diffusion rates.
- Easy to read labels and technical sheets. Environmentally friendly cardboard racks that do not grip tubes like styrofoam.

Wizard™ I and II in 96 Well Matrix Block Plate: The full 96 unique formulations of the Wizard™ I and II screens. 1.0 ml each prepared with ultra-pure chemicals and water (18.2 Megohm-cm) followed by sterile 0.22 micron filtration into a sterile 96 deep well matrix block plate that is sealed with a sterile reusable matte cover. US PATENT 6,267,935.
